There are three public seating areas. As you enter the hotel there is a small sun porch with the same views as the cocktail bar, dining room, and top lounge. The glass door can be closed for privacy or, as in the winter, to keep the heat in and cold out. Between the sun porch and the reception there is the entrance lounge with banquette seating for ten people, with more seating round our real flame gas fire. The cocktail bar lead off the entrance lounge so even if you have children with you can still enjoy a drink out in these seating areas.

The Resident's Lounge can seat up to twenty people comfortably with the normal seating, but should you hire the room for a meeting or function, depending on the type of seating layout used we can accommodate up to thirty people.

There is a veranda at the front of the hotel overlooking the rockery and pond, where guests may take their drinks and sit in the sunshine during the summer months. At the height of the summer there is no better way to end an eventful day with the view of Oban Bay seen over the rim of your glass.
